Hi,
I am going to buy a vespa - mid 60's at the latest - to do a resto on.
What money/ condition can I expect? What should I look out for?
Cheers
Rod

for needing total resto/welding an painting from £500 upwards ,cheaper ones probably imported from india/asianstan an needing registration . the earlier you go the harder to get parts an the price will rise steeply .cheapest models will be vbb or supers on 8" wheels . a sprint or ss180 will start at a grand , a gs at 2 ,an vna/vnb around 1500 . there are motovespa models that look ss180/gs but come cheaper but not advisable for a 1st resto . smallframes from mid sixtys are cheaper an fun to do , but nuevo's an small doors are rarer an more expensive ,an SS types cost more than gs's . were in country are you ,as might be able to advise a local seller/guide . I'm in Kent. It would help if you knew someone local.
Thanks,
