I have purchased the all metal type clutch side bearing seal from sip so it should be a good quality one. When I installed the seal yesterday so that it was flush with the casing I noticed that the bearing did not move as freely...I'm guessing that this means the seal has been pressed on to the bearing or should it be like this? If it's a case of being pushed on to the bearing then surely this can't be the right seal for the px? I used the old bearing to install it in to place.

the rubber centre can touch onto the centre race a tad an "stiffen" the bearing .so long as its even an no tight spots it should bed in an loosen up as you run the engine in , ok. p.s , check ya paypal ,should be postage +a beer ,thanks. H

Cheers G. It's a shame I removed it before any replies, just didn't want to take any risks around the crank. Ordered the blue corteco type seal now.
