HI, Can you help me with some information? I have a Vespa GL 1963, and I would like to get it registered as an oldtimer in Hungary, and I am looking for any information available on this issue. Mainly colour and differences on the Italian manufactured models. I know that it is originally bright beige color, but is it possible that it has been manufactured in different colours like dark blue? I have recognized it, that mine is a battery modell, and has a different combination switch than the average. Is it possible to find any infomration about the differences? Thank you for your kind answeres. Best regards Gabor

as in 63 hungary was communist/iron curtain ,its def not meant for there . it being a battery model means it was probably made for the uk market or even usa ,more likely uk . not sure on hungarys rules for registering older vehicles ,but in uk we have to get a dating certificate .the vespa club of britain do it ,an its explained on there website whats needed . a look at "scooterhelp.com" might help you on the differences an give more info from chassis an engine numbers .H
