Hi all I'm having difficulty locating the sprint badge for the legshields. The pin holes are 5.5cm apart and everywhere I look there 6.5cm apart.I really don't want to drill new holes. any ideas? thinking glue but won't that be messy, why are mine different? Cheers to anyone who replies

how olds ya sprint ,as my supers a late 70's one an should have the curvy font 65mm pins badge ,but had the squarer 55mm pin p series badge .piaggio are notorious for mix/matching -parts bin specials at model changes .an i'd try ringing allstyles as there scooterists an not IT guys ,so there website doesnt have all the gizmo's . an they do do nice quality stick on raised letter badges in correct font/chrome ,you have to notice the lack of rivets inside leggy to know the diff . Hi Simon,
I think the problem lies with a manufacturer in Italy making an assumption! The first Sprint as you know had a VespaS badge on the legshield and VespaSprint on the rear. These rear badges are what are being remade (65mm pin setting). As you have discovered the later model had a separate Sprint Italic badge set under a Rally180 style Vespa italic badge.(55mm pin setting) It would appear that this badge is not reproduced and in fact half a rear badge is offered instead!!
Hope this makes sense but does mean you arelooking for a rare item now.

thats dez for ya ,he knows his "sh#t" , so its either hunt for "rocking horse poop on the moon" rarity ,or a stick on vinyl replica .sorry, was in allstyles today but got distracted by the shiny stuff n forgot to ask them . there is 1 other option , advertise ya rare douglas badge an say only for swaps for a sprint badge ,you might get lucky .H
