Rally 180, at last.

Hi All,
Bought myself a 1972 Rally 180 with a 1989 PX200E motor in good condition. What do you think of this combination? Photos to follow.
Seat needs to be replaced. Any body got one out there for sale?

nice combination , watch for rust tho as rallys are notorious for it ,not such a problem were you are tho eh. as for seats haunt e bay , or look at soulscooter.com ones ,there nice , or if feeling rich check out "streamline" seats ,tho they are about 350 euros but nicest seats around . H

Yes its a good combination

For my rally 200 i bought a cheapo replica seat
I changed the cheap, flimsy foam to something a lot more comfortable
I bought a piaggio sticker for the back, fitted the original strap which i had and it still looks totally stock.
It was all pretty easy to do
Although to the trained eye you would notice my seat is black, not the very very dark blue of the original 200 and the strap).
Im not sure of the exact colour of the 180. Might be black!?
And i also gaffer tape the inside of the seat cover. Kind of reinforcing it, especially where they tend to rip (anywhere).
Its lasted well for 20,000 miles with no tears etc and i only recently replaced the foam again.
Still loads cheaper than the one original seat i saw for sale.
