My front wheel when spinned looks like a warped record on my 69 sprint .I've changed the wheel bearing and the front drum .There's no movement when moving the drum up and down .Any ideas and how worried should i be abouts this? Thanks to anyone who replies

buckled rims , is it same if rear wheels switched to front , if not its the rim or tyres not seated on rim right an is putting ya eye out , hold a pencil against fork leg n touch rim with tip as ya spin , a faint/even line on rim should appear , if not new rim , an yes you should sort it , for safety n mot reasons , H

unfortunately its not the wheel. When i turn the new brake drum it looks warped and at parts rubs against the brakedrum dust cover.I tighten the nut holding the drum in place and there's no movement when rocking it ,any ideas? Just to confirm I've new hub, drum and wheel bearing on my sprint.

more likely a bent dust cover , hold a pencil against fork leg against the drum to check , an hammer cover so it dont rub , spindles can get bent in bad accidents ,but fork would be bent obviously aswell .an the drum would bind as it turns on the bearings .much more likely the dust covers out of shape .H

I think its a combination of things, it does look like the spindle is bent but also the new brake drum is slightly bigger than the original drum .I've put the old one back on and it doesn't rub but it certainly is warped. Is it a waste of money buying a new spindle if the forks are bent? it feels ok when riding it.

if it feels good to ride an with dust shield fettled to no longer rub an brake works , well its "all good in de hood" , if it aint broke dont fix it ,or it will be ,thats my rule ,H
