Hi all....losing the will to live now and lost on what to do next.
Vespa T5 (N plate) I have recently had an issue where I lost all my electrics. I changed my stator and all started working again, starting, running etc. took for a run this evening and all was fine, then on road home, still running well, I started to lose the lights. They would flicker on and off, more off to be honest. Got home and while idling outside house they came back, again took a short run and lost them again. If I rev high, they go off...but do eventually come back.
so new stator (actually on second one as first raceme met died...think my fault for not torquing up the flywheel right first time...damaged). New CDI. So lost....any suggestions or help appreciated.
thanks all. Stovie.

as youve just been there ,i'd check the connections on loom between engine n loom , sounds like theres a dodgy blue power wire or black earth wire connection , after that i'd check the reg box connections n earth an maybe swap it for a known good one to eliminate as a fault ,but my moneys on a dodgy connection in the junction box .H

Thanks Henry, going to double check wiring at box as you say and will swap regulator of my other scoot. Which was working fine (the scoot that is, until I met with a hedgerow...lol).
