Rear indicators not working, have changed bulbs, checked wiring etc, so having read early post think it maybe the connection to the side panel. Had a look, but all I can see is some frayed copper wiring coming from the panel grub that fits into scoot. Being spanner retarded, can someone tell me how to fix this?

I know the feeling. My PX 125 loses a rear indicator frequently, and it's the connection in the side panel.
Mine isn't even frayed like yours seems to be, but the slightest bit of dirt or water stops one side working, and I have to stop, take the panel off, and clean the connection.
On yours it sounds like the soldered end of the wire is worn, but I don't know how easy it would be to re-solder it, 'cos I'm spanner retarded too.

Indicators fixed at last. Thanks to Paul at Celery Scooter Innovations. Anyone in south east Kent needs repairs, parts or just advice, he's your man. Mind of information and a Vespa man

Celery Scooter Innovations are at A small industrial estate in Sandling, near Tyland Barn. Go down Bluebell Hill to the garage and take slip road down to village crossroad, turn left 200yards on your right. Well worth visiting.

Thanks, I'll have a ride over there this week.
On a different note I had a delivery driver notice my scoot in the garage today. Turns out he was a Vespa owner himself and we had a bit of a chat. He is in the Maidstone Mustavva scooter club, reckons they are a great bunch, various ages from 16 to 62. They meet first Monday of the month at the Saxon Chief Pub Queens Rd, Maidstone . New people always welcome He has tried both Medway clubs and found therm both to be very clicky which he assures is not the case with the Mustavvas.
