to me no, but i'm tight , who did the engine work ,if theres reciepts an not a home build maybe , sounds like the guys wifes found out the cost an is makin him sell. why do all that an then only run 400 miles n sell , unless 2200 is what the cost adds upto an he's givin up scoots ,
if your m8 aint in a hurry he can look around n probably save 500 ,buy in winter sell in summer ,H

a pinasco 215 , bout 16bhp ,but i missed the "not for faint hearted" 1st gaze , an if ya missus likes that colour gaz i'm glad ive never seen your gaf ,guess it would hide baby puke well, the faint hearted bits probably a snatchey clutch n wrong pads on the disc an the usual crap oil contaminated rear shoes ,bet ya the same as me byrno when ya switch from scoot to ktm ,or vice versa , first brake on the bike an ya nuts rattle the tank, first 1 back on the scoot leads to a quick prayer .
another thing i didnt notice first look ,its in back of beyond jockland , travel n recovery costs hav got to be added in , should be cheaper ,thats london/south east price not bleedin hiberian money ,its nice-ish doulsy but ya mate can get same cheaper local with patience .
an if those whitewalls are shwalbe otherwise known as "widowmakers" they will need dumping ,fast, H

Its not too overly priced if its the new Pinasco 215.
Not cheap either.
If its the old Pinasco with stock crank then id be suprised if it would ever run great without a bit of fettlin'

I dunno.. Vespa prices are crazy atm.. Anything with a vespa badge on it and people think theyre worth the same as a GS.
Theres been a couple of Rally 180s on ebay, one's been 'restored' (with lots of ill fitting shiny stuff), and ones really really nice, all the right parts and pretty original too. They both sold for around £2500. Actually the 'shiny' one sold for £50 more!!??
Compared to what some people are asking for their restored indian import, thats cheap! I know which id rather have! Just my opinion

But i still think the scoot for sale in this thread is not silly money if its a good clean well looked after etc, and is potentially a good buy for the right offer price/depending on transport costs i guess.

Any way it does seem a bit expensive but it is worth a look with money in hand, make an offer if scoot is good and like Henri says who did engine work?
The scoot looks nice and clean, but most vehicles look better in pictures than real life, defo worth a phone call.
Livingston is not too far away so worth the trip even just to check it out.

if its localish to ya its def worth a look , an as its been on gumtree for 16+ days guy might take a offer , always worth showin the cash n watchin there face as it goes back in pocket ,if they look hungry make a low-ball offer , might get a steal,
an i wasnt slighting our hiberian cousins above ,just usually scoots in scootland an say wales n cornwall are bout 2-400 cheaper as there so far out for buyers to get , H
