It normaly comes in 1 meter lengths wich is just the right length incase you need to get the tank out at a later point you don't have to pee about UN doing the pipe.the bore size you need to keep your eye on 4 5 or 6 mill are the usual sizes I use 5 mill on upgraded head .I don't have a clue what it should be so I went in the middle

Last summer I had fuel hose from third party, or how do you call it if it's not genuine spare part. It had larger inner diameter than genuine, but outer diameter was thinner than genuine. I couldn't seal it properly for the body, and there was kind of air leak from engine bay to inside the body. Thinner fuel hose is also quite hard to seal for carb box. That's why I bought "Piaggio" hose this time. It's thick enough to seal carb box and body pass trough.
1 meter sound quite a lot to me. Isn't there a risk that hose get kinked? Well, I better measure how long hose I used last summer. I always had to loosen the hose from carburettor to raise fuel tank.

I replaced mine last year, and I have the old (original?) one here: 550mm long, 6mmID, 10mmOD. Don’t put the whole 1 Metre in; you’ll have all sorts of agro. I found 550mm a little too short for turning the tank without disconnecting, so just went slightly longer – 600mm, which is perfect for a PX.

Cheers for the info, one thing i did notice is that the spring clips for holding the hose on are to big for the new hose, will need a closer look carb side.

Inner 7mm, outer 14mm says Scooter center. They sell "Piaggio" hose. I cannot link it here, I'm sorry.

Thats what i use too .... 7 x 14 x 600 long but only as i like to keep it as short as possibe. The one i took out was 550lg, but it was me who put it in there years ago! 550mm is a little too short tbh, at least it is on my Rally. But it works ok
I just fitted a bgm fast flow and replaced my fuel line too. The stock banjo outlet on the tank is 6.5mm inner. So is the BGM FF.

I have rubber in carb box, but if outer diameter of hose is less than 14mm, it will leak some (dusty) air from engine bay to the carb box. It could be kind of air leak too, lean mixture maybe.
