should it say what model your scoot is on the documents? i finally received my v5 today, been waiting since may, any way it just say's vespa douglas 197cc and the model part is blank, i thought it would have said p200e.

the ways of dvla bean counters are mysterious an best not questioned by mere mortals like us , ya got a v5 n reg number i'd leave em alone ,they get cranky answering the phone,it makes em lose count off the beans,an they can cause you more grief than you'd believe ,you have been warned let em alone , welsh gits , H

they will change whatever you wish inc adding or correcting the model if you like.
the very nice ladies in Swansea did it for one of mine which was down as the wrong model.

Regular facebook argument with the know it alls..... They have P ranges Vespas built in the UK as it says Douglas on the log book.
In short, no you don't, it's just that the DVLA are useless twonks.
