iI have removed all the old paint and was wondering what colour to paint them, I was gonna go for your basic wheel silver, i have painted my scooter white and im going with the Italian theme, Italian flag seat and maybe a badge here or there, i dont want to over do it, i could do one green and one red or would that be daft looking? just looking for some advice or idea's, im a spraypainter and have access to a mixing scheme, just seems a shame after all the work to hit them with a silver airasol.

ive always done mine wheel silver or smoothrite flat silver as thats closest to original, for forks n rims ,hubs originaly where body colour but i find it "too busy" on the eye for me ,personal opinion , my last paint job i did link n backplate satin black n the rest silver an am liking the contrast/look , an you know declaring yaself a sprayers going to get ya asked loads of questions an beggin for cheap "mates rates" spray-jobs , where are ya in the world , as ive the odd frame or 2 needing paint , H

Personally I think hubs/rims/forks look naff any colour other than silver..
But then again, I'd never paint a scooter anything other than in a single colour either ;-)

Go for what ever colour you like its your scoot a soft mid green might look good on the rims just get a colour that tones it down on the hubs to blend it .i went for gloss black rims with red hubs to match what id done on the scoot and its always turned heads and been complimented.ignore the purists

glasgo eh, well there goes my dream of farmin out my painting, but anyways as 1 dream dies a nother is born, as a painter surely theres no grief to experiment n paint ya rims red/green or even red/green quarters an stick em on the scoot stand back an see, go with ya first impressions an if its "uurrghh " ,re-paint em , ya might start a "trend" or at worse give ya self a memory its goin to take legendary amounts of beer to wipe out . as rab says its your scoot ,paint it as you like , an i wish i'd thought of his red/black rim/hub contrast , you can always call em "undercoats" , H
