Hi all
My name is Andy and I'm from Cheshire. I guess you could say that I have changed sides as I used to ride BSA's and now I wish to restore a Vespa or Lambretta, so will be looking for help and advice.

hi and welcome you will get all the help you need right here i restored the vespa i have now took it from a bag of poo into my baby id only part with it for a lammy. the lammy is the most expensive option for the initial buy but are also worth a lot more once done . just bear it in mind if your doing it for re sale or just so you don't end up spending more than its worth unless your keeping it then all i can say is get ready to keep spending and adding bits

Hi all, my name is Belle. I'm new to riding, only been riding for a few months. I have an automatic Vespa ET4 125. Today my side stand broke off due to rust. I had just arrived at work and had no where to stand it, so I tipped it on its side to see what had happened, that's when I noticed the rust and it had bent right back. I managed to push it back into place so I could stand it. I have ordered a new part for it. While I was on my way home after work it had an electrical black out while I was riding. The bike kept running, but all the lights went out for a second, then came back on. I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before. I don't know if when I tipped it, it may have moved something and caused the blackout, or whether anyone might know what could have caused it. Sorry for the long winded message, I'm new to this. But hope someone may have some advice. Many thanks, Belle
