Sorry, bit late... Yes I believe they are the same... Check out the German forums as I think the px80 is more common over there.

as above ,kraut land is the home of the px80 ,thats why i suggested sip for bits , i'm not 100% sure but think body parts are same throughout px range , exhausts are diff between p200 an 125/150's ,so dont know which will fit the kit you got ,reckon a 125/150 1 shud be ok , do know the primarys ratios are diff on a px80 ,think the box ratios are same as 125px ,so you might have to swap clutches to get best from ya kit ,you say cases have been "ported" am guessing you mean matched to barrel ,so whoever did that might of swapped primarys already . as vespaco suggests the sip forum is prob best place for tech info, an there parts lists show which models it fits so will give you a definite answer to whats interchangable between px's .H

I don't think you can kit them with any kit you'll easily find. IIRC they casings would need modifying to take the barrel spigot.

Sorted then. I've no idea what the gearbox is like on them though, they're a German market only (I think) bike.

The drive shaft would be OK. The gears could be changed to suit but check the primary shaft gearing and sizes (bearings, thread and bush sizes first! to help configure your options.

the xmas tree bushes are different between early 4degree cruciform types n the later 5degree flat cruciform types , the later type being the 2 circlips on the outputshaft type , the right hand/offside bush is a 13mm brass type for early an 15mm white metal later , i believe the outside dimensions of both bushes are the same an they can be swapped in the cases an whichever tree you want fitted , but the tree an loose gears an tree shaft cant be mixed between types an must be of the same type ,the output shaft doesnt have to be changed but must have the right cruciform to match .h

From what I can find, they're pretty gutless machines. Every time one appears in Scootering, the German owner has thrown the engine in the corner and fitted a bigger one
