When fine tuning my carb heres what helps me deduce what jets are doing what and when.. Note my progressional period is at around 1/8 throttle before the the main jet stack starts to kick in...(rightly or wrongly deduced by taking out the main jet stack, starting engine, then measuring where the engine cuts out when opening the throttle),,,, then progressional period ends and the main stack starts to take over more at around 1/4 throttle. (you could always use masking tape on your handlebars if you dont like the idea of biro and Tippex)!

I do exactly similar but just with tippex white dots. This year even the MOT guy asked me the throttle marks were for. Obviously a four stroke man
