Hi guys,,, Just an update on the new SIP Road on my DR 177 set up The Exhaust arrived today so I rushed to my garage to install,, After about 30 mins trying to line up the fixing bolt due to the nut having /6mm play from side to side on the exhaust I managed to bolt the thing on and have a play,,, WOW WOW WOW what a huge difference the exhaust makes I cannot tell you!! My whole rev range is just perfect. To be honest I almost S**t myself when I pulled off in 2nd as the front end wanted to lift and fly away with me. Much more quieter than my Pinasco and so much more smoother.. I need to take out for a proper run and maybe tweek my jetting but so far the results are great !! Happy days!!

you will probably find you like it as it is and wont bother tweaking the jets. i have my dr180 on a 20 mil carb with factory jetting and a sterling exhaust + b8 plug. all i did was put my modded air filter in after i had run it in and it flys to 60 wants to wheelie in first and second and because i did not re fit my 24 mil carb im getting an extra 30 mile out of a tank of fuel.because the kit is running on the 20 mil and not the 24 its also not getting the life beet out of it lol

Isn't there a risk of holed piston, if you use too small jets?

thats auto-lube jetting , if pre-mixing ive always gone up 2 , px125=98 px150=102 , allows for volume of oil going thru jet aswell as petrol. H

im pre mixing thinking back i do remember the main was uprated as it was giving poor performance even at low speed when running in. it was not getting enough fuel i dont know what the main is now but ill be checking all i know is its running spot on now and using a lot less fuel than the molossi a lot less noise from the head and getting the same pull power and speed on a 20/20 carb
