Because it'll make your scooter smell like a tart's windowbox, instead of a scooter.

OI I run all my bikes on that stuff and it's lovely. Basically it's just regular stuff with smelly added, it's only about 0.05% so doesn't do any harm. I wish they'd make banana flavoured, or Marmite.

I'm not actually arsed if it smells like a tart's window box or a prop forward's sweat ridden jockstrap. A bottle of the normal stuff on E-Bay was a tenner(ish) with postage and I couldn't see any multiple deals for it. This looked like the best deal - at 4 bottles for 25 sherberts it's worth the girly smell and related ridicule Saying all that, I'd love a bottle that smelt like a sirloin steak, ummm. Think I need to go and make me tea.

Was gonna buy this for my 2006 PX 125: Seems not bad value for 4 bottles. Any reason I shouldn't? yes because your new px should run on a fully sythectic oil and not cheaper semi sythectic stuff

Bobbins, I thought that all Putoline TT was fully synthetic ... but after a closer look it seems not. Should have done a bit more research first eh. I've been using Silkolene Scoot Sport 2 up until now but the only place I've seen it is the dealers (who recommended it to me) where I bought the bike and that isn't particularly close to where I live and is also an area full of scallys who point and shout abuse as though I'm riding into town on a blo*dy unicorn. Was just after getting the oil on the net as and when needed. Anyway, I thought the Silkolene I've been using was fully synthetic but now I'm thinking not as it only says synthetic rather than 100% or fully. I know this has been covered to a certain degree before, but I'm still not clear on it ... why is it not a good idea to use a semi-synthetic oil in my particular case? Ah well, at worst I've got 4 new scooter themed bookends/doorstops
