hi all , my question for the vespa boffins is- i have a 2011 vespa px125 with 180 dr kit, 24mm si carb and sip road 2 exhaust. would i get any benefit from fitting a polini gear up kit?? also will it fit the newer pxs? cheers all , i can hear the cogs turning already!!

stay on the dr fella unless your getting it all ported and all the rest of the expensive stuff that makes you go faster and break down quicker . bitter experience talking lol

It's a big strip down to fit one, but combined with that top end, and an unrestricted CDI, then I'd go for it. Given the choice, I'd go for a Polini kit over DR, but as you've already got that and it's running right, stick with it. You'll lose some acceleration, but the longer legs combined with the SIP Road should make it a nice ride.

Wouldn't bother with the upgear kit, a lot of work and noisy as hell.
Just use the 21 tooth clutch gear as has already been suggested, 10 minutes work and if you blow the kit 10 minutes to put back to standard.

agree with above ,the upgear kit is unnecessary, an as mentioned is loud enuff to make a massey ferguson tracter sound quite , clutch swaps are easyier/quicker =better result . H
