Hi All, I have rebuilt my PX125 engine and it seems to be running well, it ticks over nicelly, but on take-off you have to really rev it to get going, once going it is good all the way through 2nd, 3rd and 4th.... its just the starting off in 1st.... running a 45/140 idle jet and have tried smaller (richer) ones, with no change... have tried altering the mixture screw (spaco carb) up to 2.5 turns out and still no change.. havent as yet taken carb off and cleaned through, which I am about to do this afternoon... if anyone has any ideas.... please feel free ... all will be appreciated

Soundsl like your clutch let a bit of slack off the cable it may be a bit too tight

Normally bogging down is when running too rich. Try a turning the mixture screw in to 1 turn out. If its any better you might need a smaller pilot jet.

Try tightening your clutch cable a little.
