So, my technical one is simple, but not so
I took the head set cover off to change it, when I did the speedo didn't work.
Spin the speedo with a driver all ok {phew}, messed with cable & no joy when I spin wheel
Just got a new cable and plastic drive incase but when I looked at the wheel end it's fiddly.
What carnt you be assed doing.

Speedo, niggling and intermittent misfire which I think is a damaged wire (it's been going on for a year and not getting worse)
Oh, and cleaning the bloody thing.
And finishing the chop.

Update, ragged it in bits today.
The stupid £1.60 plastic wheel had a flat on which caused the problem. For ease I removed the front shocker
On a plus side I soon found out what the small clunk was, didn't tighten the new shock when I fitted it.
It now doesn't clunk either.

another speedo drive in my super ,3 goes an reckon drive on axles trashed, couldnt focus on speedo anyway, rear brake light switch on my bike, coz ive got 1 on the front anyway,an stopping the missus car horn going off randomly on corners/parking,coz its funny. an cleaning/washing any off em. an rab that way when your tyre throws its rubber?they will hit his scoot ,nice thinking . an bryno do ya want to borrow my vespa hub puller ,made out of a bike brake disc ,had to build it as my scoot had a stone stuck in the drum wearing a groove ,then shoes changed an stone evicted,by the time i got it they'd worn with a big ridge to match the groove ,caught the hub everytime, only damage in using it was to my patience an the hearing of sensitive passersby. h
