Anyone got any recommendations for gear oil for my px125.
Something available from Halfords would be handy as i have one over the road

SAE30 is standard or I use ATF as much better IMHO.

check kru251's other thread ,there's 2 pages of opinions there. atf can be got at halfords ,sae30 gear oil 'the piaggio spec oil cant,unless ya halfords is better than mine ,if there's no local scooter shop stocking it the tinterweb (e-bay) is ya best bet.h

SAE 30, the higher quality the better. It's what Piaggio have always recommended, that's good enough for me.

I've read somewhere that API GL-4 has been recommended oil last 3 decades. My italian manual says: SAE 80W, API GL-4. I chose Motorex Gear Oil and it works great (GL-4, SAE 10W/30 [75W/85]).
Well, first I over torqued the clutch nut and it propably caused some dragging problems. I bought new oil pump gear cog and torqued the nut to 40-45 Nm. No problems since.
