I have been building a GS150 with a tuned LML engine, Ive done PX & P2 conversions. Will post a couple of pictures on here, then put it on the appropriate section. these pictures are of the dry build but it should look the exact same after the Powder Coat. The mudguard on the scooter has had the clear powder applied so this will give you an idea of what it looks like. Hope you like it, spent fcking hours on this project. Some of you have seen this on other forums, so I do apologise. Vespa GS by GLscoot, on Flickr Vespa GS by GLscoot, on Flickr IMG_3195 by GLscoot, on Flickr Mudguard on the left is in bare metal, the one on the right has had the clear powder coat lacquer.

Engine spec. worb 5 reed crank rd350 reeds mmw manifold sip cosa 2 clutch 22th 67 th primary t5, 4th gear polini 180 casings matched dellorto 28mm phbh carb giannelli exhaust (might have to change, not sure if it will be up to the job) must be right hand exit.
Metal work left as is, all the welds & dents left as is. Not looking for a masterpiece, just an honest 54 year old scooter with all its history, with modern day engine and brakes. Will post close ups of the welded, braised & dented areas after i get it back from the powder shop. Gary

Most of the guys will have seen the build progress on the VCB forum. I will add pictures on here from now on, the pictures above are of the completed dry build. The only part thats been clear powder coated is the front mudguard. This was a test piece, to make sure it would turn out the way I wanted it. The previous time it ended up looking like this, vespa GS GS150 by GLscoot, on Flickr Vespa GS GS150 by GLscoot, on Flickr I had the body work, sand blasted and then powder coated in clear lacquer, which meant it had a green tinge to the finished look, which made it look an ex-army scooter. I also got fed up with the cut side panels. The scooter lost the GS150 look. Gary

ya said this was a "worse gs frame you'd seen" before ,have looked over piccys an havent seen much sign of welding/repairs, what was the frame like to start with an have ya before/after pic's .i'll trade ya pics of the vbb i just re-floored an legshields replaced an engine mounts an center tunnel/seat arch base .just got to fill in the holes some idiot drilled through top of leggys for a rack left to do . hope your idea for a projects/build's page is set up on this forum ,as my family/friends refuse to be dragged into the shed anymore to be shown my latest genuis .a projects page will widen my bragging audience an probably swell my head so much it wont fit thru shed door anymore .H
