Hi All,
I'm from Cleethorpes and just set off on my journey with Vespas at the age of 51 (next month). I have never ridden before and have bought an LX 125. Passed the CBT yesterday and took it out onto the road for the first time today. Loved it with one exception.. the right hand mirror was clearly loosened to transport the scooter to me, but it is hanging loose and I can't seem to get it to tighten up and so the mirror moves drastically (and dangerously) as I ride. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear from you. The Haynes manual talks about removing an access panel which is simply not present on my scooter!

Can't help you with this myself , but , if you re-post the question in the tech section there is a wealth of knowledge waiting there .

The mirror arm has one thread and then there is another bolt above. Tighten the mirror arm to the correct position for your view and then fully tighten the top bolt which will lock it in place. I suggest a cloth on the spanner, as the paint is not strong and will mark.
