i need to replace my ignition barrel its 2 wire on off lock type it has screwdriver damage and a wire has been riped out of the back of it i can get the key in but its a bitch to get out ive found the screw behind the horn cover that holds it but the sod wont budge is it a hammer and smack it out or have i missed something damaging it on removal doesn't matter as it needs replacing and were would i get a new one beedspeed only have the housing but not an actual lock and key replacement for mine on there website

Right... DO NOT ATTACK IT WITH THE HAMMER!!!!! Do that, and you'll never be able to sort it. The grub screw is the key (so to speak....)
Heat and WD 40, or drill the bugger out if you can.

got the block off the rear thats goosed cant get the barrel to move not even a mil looks like brute force and smack it out from the rear

After taking the electrical part of your ignition off, the next bit you see is the steering lock, this part sits in a recess in the forks and won't come out unless you drop the forks, so I don't think hammering from the back will knock the barrel out. I would try lever/tap out the plastic (on, off, lock) part on the front, this should pull the barrel out. there are a couple of anti rattle shims to catch when removing the plastic on/off part. hth

ty for the info the lock got snapped when the scoot got stolen so the lock isn't stopping it ive double checked to make sure theres nothing there to stop it it must be 30 years of dirt jamming it in place ive put plenty of wd in it ill leave it a few days to work in before i re attack it im repalcing the whole thing so the only damage that matters is to the casing ill try with the on off part next so theres only the barrel left to get out how can something so simple be such a git to remove lol
