Hello there. I've been looking for a replacement cylinder and piston. And have found one which hopefully will fit. I have a t5 frame with px 125 engine in it. Ive messaged the site saying will this cylinder fit. And they say it will as long as it isnt an electric start. Im not sure if my px engine is an electric start or not. Sorry for sounding stupid. Any help would be great

your engine would have a starter motor and or a gear/teeth behind the flywheel if it were electric start.

The shop wasn't quite right either - the only reason a kit won't fit on an electric start motor is because it catches a fin on the gear that runs around the flywheel. There are two cures, either knock the ring off (easy enough) or grind the fin where it catches.

The other option was a lml cylinder and piston. Would it be okay to use my old piaggio cylinder head on top of the lml barrel.thankyou all for your help by the way

LML isn't going to get you any more power unless you've stumbled onto one of the five-into-three ported cylinders, and even they're not great. They're just a copy of the Vespa cylinder.
There are a lot of threads on here regarding cylinders, take a look through.

Ill take a look at that thread though. Cheers buddy

I'd always recommend using an established bricks and mortar shop over a eBay seller working out of his garage, even if it does save you a tenner. If a shop does you over, their rep is at stake and you have come back. Joe blogs in his 12*7 foot shed just changes his name before going on to another mug. Look inside Scootering for established shops.
