Hi everybody, My name is Philippe, I come from Paris and just arrived here. Sorry for my bad english... I really want to bring here one of my vespas (2 px and 1 granturismo 1967) from france, but I have some questions: (I live in London stoke newington)
- how much does it cost the insurance for a 125 cm3 for year, approximatively? - can you advise me an insurer? - I have to pass a test to drive 125cm3 in england, is it easy? only driving test or even theory? - can you give me some names of garages specialised in old vespas?
Thank you for your help!

Bonjour Philippe I reccommend going into a good newsagent and buying a copy of "Scootering". That will have lots of insurance information. Personally I use M.C.R. The policy includes breakdown and recovery (most important when riding a 30 year old vehicle!). As for specialised garages, I don't know first hand but I have seen one place advertised in "Scootering" which may be what you are looking for. Try "Retrospective Scooters". www.retrospectivescooters.com/Bon! Rob

Hi Guy's, I have another question. I change my licence for an UK licence. And I think they made a mistake (a good one...). Because it looks like can drive a big motorbike. Or is it for a tricycle with a big motor? Here attached the picture of my driving licence. What do you think? What means the 79(tri) on the 3th Column?

AUTO ANSWER : Here is a list of all driving licence codes for the UK www.gov.uk/driving-licence-codes As I understand it, the regulations relating to motorcycles changed on the 19th of January this year - and code 79 means "restricted to vehicles in conformity with the specifications stated in brackets on your licence". The letters "tri" are short for tricycle - so the A category in your case allows you to drive trikes, such as this one: motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/Cus... However, you are not covered to ride a normal motorcycle.
