I'm thinking of changing my standard split rims and tyres on my 2013 PX for some nice SIP polished rims and Schwalbe Raceman tubeless tyres. First question do you think this would be a good combination? I won't be racing, I just want a good wheel and tyre set up. Second question, should I buy a set of three, or would the standard split rim and tyre be ok to use as the spare in case of a puncture?

Schwalbe racemans - is that wise given all the recent publicity? That said, I do run them, thought not tubeless and I dont appear to be in a ditch yet!

NO NOT SCHWLABE.
Or at least not until they solve the current problems.
Tubeless, yes though!

Ok, seen lots of adverse reports now. There is even a facebook page! Can anyone recommend a tubeless to replace the Raceman?

Sportsman Dual compound .Yes by Schwalbe but its quality IMO. Ran many sets no problems at all
Ive never been able to fit a tubeless with a schwalbe on as a spare due to size.
