Hi Guys, I have just bought a 1961 Vespa and today she goes for her MOT (fingers crossed!) I think it is a 152L2 but it has a later PX engine in it. Honestly, whoever "restored" it didnt do a great job, paint work is good in fiat baby blue but the wiring isnt great. It doesnt have a battery it would seem, it does appear to have been upgraded to 12V though, does that sound normal? The V5 has the chassis number on it as EA23164 (which I would think is the engine number?) as I has looked on the left underside of the frame and found the stamped number VBG1T * 39569 * which I think could be VBC1T as all the reseach I have done says there is no such thing as a VBG1T frame. This would mean the frame is a Vespa 150 frame? I am very much looking forward to popping around on it and using it whenever I can. Can anyone shed any light on what I might have? Picture attached
