This is my bike. its a 1983 Douglas (?) crossover model. or maybe if you prefer a dealer parts bin special. its running a Pinasco 177 cast iron cylinder, Mazzuchelli race crank, 28mm Dell'orto carb, scootRS expansion chamber and uprated adjustable suspension of the red and white variety. other than that its pretty standard I did also just fit 2mm checkerplate foot thingies which I totally fabricated myself (all those hours watching American hot rod were not wasted ) then riveted on. that seems to have perked it up a bit in the corners. I have some plans to do something to it cosmetically but Im kind of liking the originality of it for now. trying to locate a driver screen, have better horncase and back light on the way but both Mk 1 items. I've cut a hole in the side panel so I can get to the choke, the only thing really missing for me is an up and over exhaust. but obviously they're not available for this engine of the shelf. if business is good next year maybe ill see if I can get one made. this is it at the top of the horseshoe pass in north wales Attachments:
