Hi all,
been having trouble with my px at low revs, when I'm at low revs the scoot surges forward like a jolting feeling. Once I open the throttle up it stops but soon as I drop the throttle it starts to jolt almost like a jockey on a race horse.
I have recently changed the exhaust to scorpion and changed the main jet/mixture screw to match but not touched the slow running jet, could this be the problem???
I have taken out Carb cleaned all jets changed seals/gaskets and still nothing's changed.
Cheers

does sound like a fuel starvation problem,is the main jet the right size? ,,..if your using a standard 20/20 carb,[px125]the main jet i reckon should be 98 to 100

It was being an arse when I had a 96/98 stock exhaust in, then I changed to a scorpion exhaust drilled hole in filter stuck a 102 main in and still the same. I may need to up the other jet next too.

Well my thinking is,,,,if the scoot is jumping about in low revs then it must be the slow/idle jet which needs to be up jetted a few points
As when I open the throttle half/3 quaters it clears when the main jet kicks in.

Just been to shop and stuck a 55/140 in and it has worked a treat, took few attempts with different sizes but got there in the end.
