Any one know why the rubber grommet that sits ont the throttle slide adjustment screw, is fitted what appears to me upside down. earlier px;s had them pushed through the carb top, making a good dust / water seal. Now all the one's i see are flipped over. factory fitted....

I've only ever seen them fitted from the outside inwards - on top in other words. I'd not want the risk of it bouncing around inside my carb box (although I can't really see how they could!

I'm with Nik here too. Maybe someone on the subcontractors production line just started doing it and that's the way it has become the 'norm'?

Always put mine on before fitting the box lid
Doesnt matter either way really
