I have bought a SIP Road exhaust for my new PX125. There is a pipe that runs from the side of the engine and connects with the exhaust. The new exhaust doesn't have anywhere to connect this pipe to!! Firstly, what is the function of this pipe and second would it matter if it's not connected? Attachments:

it's the catalyser, and no you don't need it, just remove it with the old exhaust, fit your sip pipe and enjoy.
