have you checked if your brakes are binding on the hub or disc?

That's one thing. Is it misfiring at all?
Is it a sudden decrease or a gradual one? If you pull the clutch and rev it, what happens?

This time of year, if your fuel tank isn't brimmed EVERY night you get tiny particles of water moisure creating rust in the tank. Happens to all vehicles. Sound to me like a good swill out and clean wouldn't go amiss as that could be a tiny rust particle blocking a jet. I mean, the jets are only sewing needle size & smaller so it takes VERY little to block one. Carb clean out first. I have got rid of particles by attaching a tube to the existing fuel line then shaken the scooter with the fuel turned on. Can help to dislodge cr*p and pass it through. I have then filtered the fuel that's got the 'bits' in it and used it again but for cleaning purposes. Good Luck.

I've 30 years of scooters and have never encountered that KRU. I appreciate that it's a theoretical possibility, but I've never known blocked jets from it.
To me that sounds like a CDI/pick up problem.

Well maybe I'm just unlucky, but I've had that issue on two of my current scooters so that a 50% hit rate. Really is a tiny amount of rust that can cause issues. Used to get similar with stationary engine that get stored over winter etc. Probably better with scoots that are used a lot through rain & shine as there is a good through put of the vital fuel so less time for rust to form as the new fuel gets added etc. By the way, these modern ethenol fuels are bad news as they absorb water. www.mossmotors.com/SiteGraphics/Pages/Ethanol.html

I'd say so.
Are you running an air filter BTW?

Mine came with a jet (one size up IIRC - 122?) and it's run perfectly on that.
