I got fed up with the horn on the PX as rather pathetic (but still better than the A/C Lammie duck quaker) and as I'd done a mate a favour wiring in some spotlights he gave me a spare red "Ooojah" vintage sounding horn he had. I've seen them mounted underneath the running boards but I thought prone to damage/limited clearance and mud splatter so I found the perfect place for mine. Just used a longer bolt on the mudguard stay fixing, extended the original horn wiring with normal push on crimped-to-wire terminals and a relay and that was job done. I lurve the sound and car drivers WILL hear you now!!!

I have a 15amp fuse and run it through a 35amp relay as that's just what I had 'in stock'. Think a 10a would be fine fuse wise, but haven't tried it yet. Actually, I might try just reducing fuse sizes to see what rating eventually goes 'pop'. These horns sound fantastic in tunnels..............allegedly!
