From what I can see the standard PX125 is almost overgeared to start with! I'd go down the "one-upgrade-at-a-time" route because if it doesn't go as you'd expect you won't know what it is (as in capacity upgrade or gearing) that has made it worse. So, I'd do the capacity upgrade and get that right carburation wise etc. If then it's revving its little nutz off in fourth go do the gear changes.

As above. The DR isn't really a racing kit, but you will find that it'll happily rev out in top now if it's set up right.
And no, no gasket AFAIK

Pal of mine is running a DR, on hills it just dies, it is useless, but on the flat it will do 60 plus.. I think it is more to do with getting a pipe that works well with the kit than the gearing, he is running a Malossi, which only works when you thrash the hell out of it, hence he has no pulling power on a hill unless he drops a cog, if it were mine, I'd be trying it on a pipe which gives more bottom end pull like the Sito road or even a standard pipe before taking the more drastic step of messing with the cogs..

You'll love the SIP Road Bryno.
Nik, did you have any centre stand issues with the SIP? Mine was scraping and I had to bend it out a couple of mil.

Cool, I will retire my 27 year old original standard pipe for a SIP ... So long as it's not noisy!
