hi everyone has anyone had a problem fitting these sito exhausts, ive just bought one from beedspeeds today and the only way it will fit is to remove the centre stand??? the spring on the stand stops the sito from lining up with the bolt hole on the casing,, wondering if i should take it back or not,, any advice appreciated, regards ,steve

I did tell you a Sito plus was essentially a standard T5 exhaust anyway...
Yours is a P range frame with a T5 engine isn't it? (T5 Classic in short). I'd see if there was another way of mountin the spring - I've a feeling I've seen two arrangements for them, either one thick spring or two small ones, but that's all I can offer at the moment.

That sounds odd, did you change the jetting? If you had it on it's side to change the exhaust, did you turn the fuel off first? It may just have flooded.
Sidestands are great things BTW, they clear everything....

Always turn the fuel off when you lie the bike down. Often it'll fool the carb float into thinking the carb is empty and it'll just keep filling with fuel. The fuel has to go somewhere, that somewhere being the cylinder.... Which then fills up.
FTR I normally turn my fuel off and then run it for about ten seconds before lying it down, then once it's back upright I turn the fuel back on and give it a moment to prime itself before trying to get it to fire.

Look what happened to Clarkson when he dropped the Vespa on it's side all the time in Vietnam like it was a BMX. On his arse with lots of nice cuts and bruises. Karma ;D
