Want to upgrade my rally front shock while on winter rebuild ...thinking of the BGM unit any body used or reviews ?

There is a much cheaper upgrade using a Lambretta spring to stiffen the original by double springing it. This keeps the standard look too.
Many thanks to the late Steve 'Sausage' Porter for that one.

A mate of mind did the BGM shock, says it made not a lot of difference, it is the spring that needs to be stronger really. IIRC SIP do a strenghtened spring.
Sounds interesting Nik, not heard that before, a lam fork spring cut down and put in the middle of the OE Vespa spring?

Something like that Bryn, it'd involve an element of 'suck it and see', but Sausage reckoned it made a huge amount of difference to his. It may even have been a full length spring?

food for thought then, bet it's a bugger to assemble though, getting a vintage spring in place is hard enough withoput another sprint stuffed inside it..

Thanks for the info both...standard shock with stronger spring may be a cheaper option as well .
