hi,
just bought some continental k62 white wall tyres, and chrome split rims. (tyres being delivered by end of week)
will these require tubes? As the advert for tyres sid tubed/tubeless on ebay
the rims on my vespa at the mo have splits, but say tubeless on tyre, and havent had the need to take em apart to check yet
so abit confused whether they will fit or not??
can anyone advise?
thanks

If you have split rims then you always need tubes. If you have one piece rims then you don't.
Simple as that.

Even though some tyres say "Tubeless" (e.g. S83,)on the side, doesnt always mean that they dont have tubes in them.......Split Rims=Tubes...

HI,
Ive seen inner tubes advertised; "suitable for 3.0" & 3.50 Tyres",
Excuse my daft question, but are the inner tubes universal sizes?
Thanks
Brendan

They will be OK..Just make sure that they are 90* right angle valves. also,if you can,go for Michelin Airstops....Cost a bit more but are worth it...

I'd disagree about the Airstops, I've had a lot of issues witrh them over the last couple of years. I've had it suggested that it's because they're a universal 3.00/3.50 x 10 size, as opposed to a dedicated 3.50 x 10. I've stopped using them anyway.
