Has anyone had an alarm fitted to their scooter? if so, which one/ make.

Hi I have fiited a few bike alarms in my time and if you can get hold of one a company called Laserline use to make a good one, it wasn,t insurance approved but it worked very well. Your scooter will need to have a battery installed if its hasn,t got one.
If you have no luck finding an alarm let me know i may be able to source one for you.

thanks Dave. will check out the suggestion. seen a good one from Beedspeed but want to investigate pros and cons first.

sorry if this is late....i've got xena alarmed disc lock and although quite good i've found that as the batteries get low the bloody thing sets itself off even when you unlock it ( also you can muffle the alarm very easily just by smothering in yer hand..

I've got a nasty sticker on my glove box that says "I smell". That usually does the trick. And cheap too! ;D

LOL Lucia. Thanks for that post Barndoor. I think i'll look at a proper alarm system rather than the disc lock alarm.
