Hi There, I am now the very proud owner of a Vespa frame, 2 engines, 2 side panels that aren't the right ones and 2 large crates of parts! I was wondering if anyone can help me determine the type, year, origin of my frame. The frame number has no letter prefix and starts 57* and is on a tab (made as part fof the frame not attached seperately) it is on the right side, and would be behind the lockable panel if I had the right one!!! If anyone can help a damsel in distress that would be great! Soph x

Does it have a second number that starts with a V? Probably above or in front of it?

Not sure, but from here I'd guess at a Douglas as they don't either AFAIK.
Photos would help..

Definately a PK based scotoer, no chassis model number narrows it down to Spanish or possibly Indonesian.
Either way, build it to Italian spec and you'll find getting the parts a bit more realistic than trying to restore it properly.
