Hello all not quite a new owner yet im currently in the process of selling my supermoto to fund a new PX125. What are your thoughts on the new PX thats being sold now. Im keen to get one because of the warranty provided plus it s a new scoot. How easy is it going to be to modify with the new restrictions put in place to meet emissions law, i would want to fit a new exhust possible a PM tuning one. Your help would be much appreciated.

hiya pal, welcome to the forum MY OPINION IS...Vespa realised that they dropped a bollock when they stopped manufacturing the PX and now they want to have the punters pants down by giving them a new seat and hand grips with" Vespa" written on them and for this privilege you get to pay the thick end of 3 grand....whoopy do........ LML have really got their act together over the last few years. The paintwork IS superior to the PX. LML have also gone the extra mile and squeezed a 4 stroke engine into the frame that is not much different to the 2 stroke frame. think about it matey..... based on the FACT ,that everyone who,s bought a lml scooter is most impressed.with the product ,ie finished item ,compared with the sh*t piaggio have bin flogin for the past couple o years.remember piaggio s.p.a is a bloody big company ,and don,t give a toss about customer satisfaction, all they want to do is SELL mopeds/shoppin bikes.... that, my own experience and scootering magazine 3 grand is a hell of a lot of dosh, plus you'll probably spend another few hundred getting it how you like it ... the lml build quality is far superior to that of piaggio...not everyone will agree with me cos' its not ITALIAN, but look into it before you decide mate....lml tonnes more scoot at half the price ...AND, NO, I DON'T WORK FOR LML ! i'm an engineer who wants to save a bloke some hard earnd cash

Wow, wasnt expecting that for a reply. Thanks buddy I have looked into the LML and to be honest I couldnt see much of a difference in the bikes. I must say though I do prefer the Vespa badge. Snobby, sad! Yes! But it's a Vespa and they are the original. I have heard mixed reviews on the LML and not everyone thinks that the build quality is all that. There are much more paint options on the LML and the four stroke engine would be nice but I do love a two stroke. Hmmmm what to do. I must admit though the Vespa is expensive for what it is. Serious thinking to do Thanks again Mr Ripper

Cheers buddy. I have looked at the LML and that is an attractive package. For £100 less than a new 125 px i can get a new LML with a 166 kit and fully specced up. My only concern is that there are no dealers near to me, where would i get it serviced and what if anything goes wrong in the time i own it. Who will touch it. Also what engine do they use is it the same as the Vespa? I can get one brand new and delievered for free to me but again its the above that concerns me.
