d'ya mean your having trouble getting the castellated nut off pal ? sometimes you've got to shock it off by whacking the end of the spanner / wrench, its not always an easy nut to get off... the hub should then come off easily if pulled straight

I use an old wheel which is my knocking wheel.I remove the good wheel and then attach my knocking wheel. You can then hit the rim in different places as hard as needs before the hub comes off. Some of them are really tight and you would cause damage to your original wheel.

As a last resort I give the end of the hub spindle a whack which usually shocks the hub off the taper.. careful not to damage the end of the spindle though..
