Found you using Google and as the proud owner, for the last 7 days , of a 1997 PX200 thought I had better join.
Just about got used to the gear change after 20 years of doing it with my left foot, right foot has got used to fumbling around on the floor for the rear brake. I am missing the disc brakes on my BMW with the reassurance of ABS as a back up.
It may be my imagination but are car drivers a little bit more tolerant to the older scoots it's been a pleasure to ride into work.
I have changed the g/box oil , adjusted the brakes , cleaned the plug and air filter , checked the electrics and charged the battery. Filled the front thingy ( sandwich box holder) with relevant tools and 2 stroke oil.
What else do I need to do / check , scoot is showing 28k and appears all original no mods.

Seth, Welcome to the site. I'm sorry, but I can't answer your techy question, but I am sure some of the other members will be able to. I'm just trying to make you feel welcome as there doesn't appear to have been any response so far.
