Hello, I recently bought a 49cc ET4, it has an ET4 badge on it but the log book states ET2. Are there any obvious signs on the bike that it is actually one or the other.
Apologies for what could be a completely noob question but my knowledge of such matters is next to zero.
Many thanks
Scott

as far as i know there is no 49 cc 4-stroke Vespa (which is what the "4" stands for)
if you lift your seat up, and you see 2 caps - one for fuel, and the other is for the 2-stroke oil then its an ET2 , 2 stroke Vespa

Vespa ET4 , LX & S all have the 49cc guttless four stroke version Even derestricted will only do 38mph Thats why piaggio have gone back to a 2-stroke engine in the zip50 as most 16 years olds hated the slooooowwww pull away , Plus lots got killed cause they don't do oil levels or oil changes ;D
