Hello everyone!
No scoot as still deciding on what to buy! Just sold my Lambretta GP225 and prior to that sold my Vespa PX125. Really thinking about buying a new Vespa rather than a classic - is that totally uncool or what? Not sure if turning up for a rally on a new scoot is acceptable - can anyone give their honest opinion please!

welcome pal, times are a changin', auto's are getting accepted now...like they should be if scootering is to survive, more & more at rallies these days standard & with murals on, never thought i'd say this 5 years ago, but i like em' now....get one ! P.S ya never saw the 60s mods riding old scoots, they always had the latest models out

So glad you said that Jack - thats what i was thinking myself. Mods epitimised coolness during their day. They didnt ride around on old bangers did they? I just think that in 10 years the Vespa S will be regarded as cool! Besides, ive hit that age where i dont give a hoot what others think (well maybe a little). At the end of the day, its a Vespa and its italian!!! Surely thats cool even for old school. Cheers mate, youve cheered me right up. Off to the pub to celebrate!

welcome i tried the gts250 and it was quite an experience , it's a fine scooter i don't think one can feel uncool on it... although personally i think a classic oldie is a tiny bit more unique ;D but it doesn't matter btm line, you should buy a scoot you feel comfortable on

If u want to leave to drive a Classic scoot, maybe you must to buy a GTS, but ¨the classics are the classics¨.....and be a different things. Why not the 2 choices.....???jijijiji The new GTS to go to work everyday, and the classic to ride to Rallies.
