hi all. sum1 pls help me!! i have a non batt px125, it keeps failing mot cos if i operate the indicators with my headlight on, they pinch power from it causing it to pulse. ive checked all switches and earths, and replaced the rear indicator frame connectors and ill be buggered if i can find a fault! any ideas?

interesting, my px 200 done the same for 10 years but never failed an mot for it, any ideas anyone ? maybe try lower wattage bulbs in the flashers ?

Mabe the part of the stator that powers the lights is wearing out ?I have a smally in at the moment with no lights because the light coil is below parr ! Like jtr says lower watt bulbs or make tick over quicker (more power)

It's not a fault mate, it's just the way it is. Try LED lamps in your tail and brake and raise the tickover slightly for your MOT. The best thing though is to try and find out where the most scooter friendly MOT centre is in your area as not all places have a clue when it comes to scoots, hence your failure for something which is quite natural on a Vespa.

thanks for help everyone, managed to get it through mot and made it for the chester egg run yesterday!! went to a different tester, and it flew through! wont be takin it to the other tosser again, we live, we learn!! thanks again.
