I purchased an '07 GTS 250 last June. The other day I met with a bit of a nasty surprise when I discovered that my throttle was stuck open coming off of the freeway. Thank goodness for strong brakes. I had it hauled to the local service department and it was a simple matter of a nut on the throttle cable coming loose and the mechanic fixed it very quickly. Everything seemed to be fine. However, today, it seems to be sticking a bit again. I would like to know if anyone else out there has had, or is having a similar problem. If you know how to fix it once and for all, please share. The nearest service department for me is 80 miles away. It's time I learned how to do minor repairs and services on my own.
Thank you for any input.

I presume from the lack of response that no -one ele had suffered this prob. I know 2 people have had gt & gts fo a while with no probs. A quick fix by mechanic doesn;t seem to have been the right fix does it ? The following may interest you tho' www.scooter-scene.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3198. Get it checked by a proper vespa dealer soon
