hi all my name is wayne i have a vespa 90 ,at the moment somebody is trying to sort lighting problem for me i'll try'n explain , the bulbs keep blowing only one working at mo is headlight but as soon as u give it some revs it go'es to bright ready to pop,the break light only works when lights are switched off . it was fine when i bought it i think? but since then throttle cable snapped and with all twisting on grip i snapped some of wires which have been soldered which leaves me were i am now ,only able to ride briefly thanks for taking time to read would really appreciate your help simplified if poss cheers wayne

hi sounds like you need to replace your regulator
but first, try to reconnect the wires you disconnected maybe that has to do with it

Hi Does sound like your regualator has had it , what voltage bulbs are you using, the reason why I ask is I had the same problem with a 90 I sold earlier this year and discovered that someone had put a 12V stator plate in, so I swapped bulbs for 12V and hey presto fixed.
