T5 Light Problem

Hi Guys
Hope someone can help me I have a T5 Mk1 with a light problem when put the indicators on the main light and
tail light start to dim and then get brighter as the indicators
go on and off when I leave the indicators off the main lights
are fine. I have changed the regulator and the flasher unit
but still have the problem,has anyone got any ideas please

How dim mate? they will dim a little when the indicators are on anyway, especially if you have a foot on the brake at the same time...

Yeah it sounds pretty normal to me. There's only so much power a stator plate can produce on a scooter that's got no battery. Do all the lights get brighter when you increase the revs?

Yeah guys I know that but I do mean realy dim to the point that they nearly go out it would not pass a MOT

i,d have a look at your stator plate and check the coils as they burn out

the wires also rot to stator plate ( not a hard job to rewire and repair )
