Hi,just fitted all new cables to the 152l2 project but cant seem to get my clutch to release? I can start the scoot in neutral but it wont go into gear,if I select a gear before I start it when I lean on the kickstart it just wants to turn the back wheel even if I pull the clutch lever back.Is there a secret to setting the clutch cable or is it possible the clutch may have seized whilst standing, is it possible for a wet clutch to stick?Scoot has a P200E engine by the way. Regards Gareth

Hi Gareth
Sounds to me like your clutch is knackered, have you tried moving the clutch lever yourself, can normally be done with a pair of pliers. If the clutch engages and disengages Ok you may need to look at how the cables are run, I am restoring a 152L2 and the cables run through tubes in the frame unlike newer models such as PX's. You may find that the cables are very tight and may need routing outside the tubes in the frame.

Hi,thanks for the reply, all the cables are running nicely and the clutch levr is moving freely through all its travel,if I move the lever manually at the gearbox it still wont disengage. Gareth
